Cambridge Grove sits in the northern part of Huntersville, closer to Davidson than to Birkdale. The neighborhood was built in the late 1990s and early 2000s, which means the trees are now real shade trees and the streets feel established instead of brand-new. Most of the homes are traditional southern-style two-stories with front porches that actually get used.
The community is in the Hopewell High zone, which carries weight in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Local pickup at Cambridge Grove Park is a standing fixture: youth soccer, weekend basketball, parents drinking coffee and watching the kids run around. The HOA is active enough to keep the front entrances looking sharp without being the kind that polices your mailbox color.
For commuters, the location is harder than Birkdale (a few extra minutes to I-77) but easier than Davidson or Cornelius proper. Most residents trade those few minutes for a slightly better price-per-square-foot and the kind of yards that are starting to disappear from newer Huntersville builds.
Mature Streets
Twenty-plus year-old neighborhood means established landscaping, real shade trees, and a settled feel that newer builds genuinely cannot fake.
Mature Streets
Twenty-plus year-old neighborhood means established landscaping, real shade trees, and the kind of settled feel that newer subdivisions can't fake. Real shade. Real sidewalks. Real porches.
Real Yards
Lots here run larger than what new construction in Huntersville is putting on the market in 2026. Room for trampolines, pools, gardens, and the kind of backyard that gets actually used.
