SouthPark is Charlotte's affluent retail-anchored neighborhood. The SouthPark mall complex — one of the highest-grossing shopping centers in the southeastern U.S. — anchors the commercial heart of the area, surrounded by single-family streets, mid-rise condo and luxury apartment buildings, and a network of office parks that employ a meaningful share of Charlotte's executive class. The neighborhood's character is more polished and corporate than the eclectic Plaza Midwood or the historic Myers Park.
