The Annual Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte, NC

Did you know that the most popular holiday show in the U.S.A. has been held in Charlotte, North Carolina for the past 48 years? I didn’t until I experienced it for myself. It’s called The Southern Christmas Show and is held at The Park Expo and Conference Center in Charlotte! This year the them is 12 Days of Christmas. Having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, a trip here will fix that fast!

The festivities, this year, began on November 11 and will run until November 22nd. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet don’t wait! I have never seen so much Christmas Spirit in one place… EVER….Don’t get me wrong, the tree in Rockefeller Center is pretty impressive, but if you LOVE to decorate or buy unique gifts this is the place to head to. Not only is there great shopping with over 400 merchants, it also features holiday designer rooms, decorated trees, mantels, and doors. There is entertainment, representatives form local vineyards with free samples! And if you haven’t already guessed it, visits from the jolly old man himself to talk to the kids (big and small)….So if you can, head over today and take some time to enjoy yourself. There is so much to see and don’t worry about snacks or meals, they have that too!
